fees

My rate for therapy sessions is $150 per 50-minute session. The intake session is also $150 for a 50 to 60-minute session - I will spend time reviewing your documents beforehand so that we can get right into clarifying, digging deeper, and treatment planning.

Please know I do not accept/am not paneled with insurances at this time, and do not accept clients with Medicare. I accept HSA, debit card, and credit card payments. I do require a credit/debit card to be kept on file.

Insurance reimbursement

I can provide you with a digital "superbill" document to submit to your insurance company at your request but am unable to provide additional assistance with this step. I can't guarantee that your insurance will fully reimburse the cost of our sessions but you are welcome to call them and ask.

Here is an article with recommendations on what to ask your insurance company prior to scheduling a consult call with me.

I commonly use these billing codes:

  • Individual therapy, 50 min: 90834

  • Family therapy w/ client present: 90847

Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis (even for children and teens) and often have strict treatment requirements in order to cover sessions; foregoing insurance ensures that the therapeutic treatment plan can be tailored to your individual needs. There are also no restrictions on telehealth sessions. No mental health diagnosis will be required or documented unless it is requested by you. Additionally, your insurance company will not have access to any clinical notes from our sessions without your permission.

(If you decide to "superbill" your insurance company, this may be compromised - for example, a mental health diagnosis must be provided to the insurance company.)
