1

When are sessions offered?

Generally, I offer sessions on weekday evenings between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. and on weekends between 8:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. I do have some flexibility with this, particularly for consults, supervision, and WPATH sessions.

2

Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time, I lack space to offer in-person sessions, but hope to be able to do so in the future. For now, I offer telehealth sessions via Zoom, which is HIPAA-compliant.

3

Where do you practice?

Alhough I am located in Tri-Cities, Washington, I am licensed in Washington and Oregon and accept clients across both states.

4

How do I know if you're the right therapist for me? How can I schedule?

I am hopeful that between the information offered on this website as well as my profiles on Therapy Den and Psychology Today, you have a good sense of who I am and how I might be able to support you; I offer free 15 minute phone consultations calls in order to gauge our connection. Please email me to schedule a call if it seems like we might be a good fit.
During this call, prospective clients share the challenges they've been experiencing have led them to reach out. I will be honest with you about my abilities and confidence in assisting you.
If we determine we are not a good fit, I will provide referral suggestions whenever possible.

5

What does the first session look like?

At the time of scheduling, I will send you several intake forms to complete, which are due to be submitted via the Client Portal 3 days prior to our intake session. Our initial meeting will last 50-60 minutes, during which time we will go over paperwork, including policies, financial arrangements, etc., looking more at the information you provided in your submissions, and determining an initial direction for treatment. Please feel welcome to clarify any questions you have about the process, my credentials or experience, or anything else you'd like to know about therapy during this time.

6

Who can I contact if I need help right now?

7

What ages do you work with?

I work with adults and adolescents ages 13 and older. For those under 13, there are a number of therapists in the Tri-Cities area who work with this population; they can be found on Psychology Today's Therapist Finder.

8

What kinds of clients do you typically work with?

While I am passionate about the specialty populations I serve such as perinatal, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent individuals, I also want to help folks struggling with anxiety, self-confidence, and self-esteem, as well as life transitions and relationship concerns. The acceptance and affirmation I offer to clients is not limited to any one community, concern or diagnosis, and I hope that in our work together, you find comfort and a safe space to bring your whole self.

How long is a session? How long will I see you?

Depending on your needs and preferences, we will meet weekly or every other week for 50 minute sessions. As for the duration of our work together, it can be hard to know upfront how long it will take to meet your goals, but I look forward to working together on what this may look like for you.
